Christian metalcore scene band, The Devil Wears Prada has become a benchmark to new bands trying to make it in this genre. Patterns of a Horizon is an interesting EP by The Devil Wears Prada. This EP explores a wide variety of metalcore techniques that The Devil Wears Prada have been achieving since 2005.

Listening to this EP makes me realize how far The Devil Wears Prada have come as a band. The Devil Wears Prada have come a long way from this ‘raw’ sounding demo into a band that both creativity and production value has increased.

The almost homemade sound of this EP is what makes it spectacular. With sound effects that sound as if they could be household items that do well in catching the attention of peoples ears.

I really adore this demo type EP because I generally prefer demos. I like to see how far a band have progressed and the way that they recorded when they were infamous. Being in a band myself it inspires me to record and try and progress myself into bigger and better things in the music industry. I highly recommend the purchase of this EP because it is well constructed and provides an ‘eargasm’
