Stiff Little Fingers – Bristol O2 Academy (28.03.2013)

Supported by Ed Tudor Pole, ex-guitarist for one of the most iconic punk bands of all time, Tenpole Tudor and The Men They Couldn’t Hang, Stiff Little Fingers played in celebration of their 35th anniversary. There was a massive turn out, especially for a genre that is slowly dying. The band were one of the best bands I have ever seen live, they really ‘lit up the stage’ with Jake Burns’ amazing vocals and guitar. Even though there are only two original members of the band left, the two new members are a brilliant addition to the band that compliment Stiff Little Fingers’ songs well.

All-in-all it was a brilliant night, the crowd did not stop moving throughout and there was a real friendly atmosphere about the place. I strongly recommend going to see this band if you haven’t already.
